St Joseph Affordable Homes’ purpose is to provide substantial and sustainable employment for young Tasmanians with barriers to employment.

St Joseph Affordable Homes has developed a unique multi-trade training program which incorporates an inhouse apprenticeship and trainee program and a host apprenticeship program.

Our apprentices and trainees are provided with life skills and work readiness training, coaching, mentoring and wellbeing support to help them succeed. This wrap around support and safety net for young people, delivered through Build Up Tassie, is what makes our apprenticeship scheme unique.

St Joseph Affordable Homes closely with a range of Registered Training Organisations and industry partners to deliver a best practice program. Our team are committed to supporting diverse cohorts of people into successful careers in the building and construction industry.
